Iconic square crown
The square crown is just one of the unique design elements of the Arcanaut ARC 1. It is operated by pulling it out to 2-position where time can be set just like on an ordinary watch. In 1-position it moves freely to its “right” angle. Push it into 0-position and it will sit right and complete the distinct design
Design
Scandinavian Functionalism
“Functionalism” is the principle that designers should design an object based on the purpose of that object. In the watch industry it has become commonplace to see watches which are more art than a usable tool.
At Arcanaut though, we believe that our watches should do just what a watch is intended for: Tell time – easily! Therefore the dial on the ARC 1 is designed for the sole purpose of legibility – day and night. This is also the reason for the uncommonly discreet logo, which on both faces are tone-in-tone, and only visible upon closer inspection, as the logo has no practical purpose in day-to-day use.

Movement
ETA 2895-2
The movement of the ARC 1 is one of the tried and tested all-time-greats of the watch industry: The ETA 2895-2 mechanical automatic movement, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The movement is made to Arcanaut’s specifications by our Geneva watchmaker and finished in top grade – the highest quality finish available.
